Up here in Northumberland a burn is a small stream and so Burnfoot is aptly named as we have one at the foot of the garden, the Hartley Burn. Whilst you are here for a reading or attending a workshop you will be able to enjoy some of the benefits of the garden. Sitting by the burn is just one of the places that you will find you are able to relax, meditate and connect to the water nymphs and sprites. In other areas of the garden you can soak up the energies of the surrounding fields and woodlands or just watch the birds and wildlife doing their thing. Many people find that just listening to the sounds of the environment helps them de-stress and heal - the energy of comfrey is everywhere.

As well as the outside area Edwin has created a sacred workshop space of power and tranquility. It is a safe environment that offers protection, healing and cleansing to all who enter.

We feel incredibly privileged to be allowed to live in a place so close to the Divine that, in order to bring balance, we must share this space with others. We hope you see and feel what we do here and are able to make the most of your time whilst visiting.

Please note: We are now the proud parents of a Labrador puppy (born December 15th 2010). If you have an aversion to dogs please let us know before you book for a workshop.

Masterclasses

Many people who come to Edwin's workshops travel the day before and stay over. We thought that the time spent waiting for the workshop might be put to better use and so Edwin is now providing a Masterclass on a topic related to the workshop for 3 of them in 2011. The class will be strictly limited to 10 (absolutely no exceptions) it will begin at 1pm and end at 5pm. There will be tea and coffee available but no lunch. See below for which workshops have a masterclass attached. The masterclasses are booked and paid for separately to the main workshop.

Workshop Information

Directions
The workshops are held at Low Burnfoot, Featherstone, Haltwhistle, Northumberland, NE49 0JJ Get directions. If you arrive by train please let us know and we can pick you up from Haltwhistle station.

Accommodation
If attendance at a workshop or reading causes you an overnight stay it is up to you to organise it. Unfortunately there is no accommodation at Burnfoot, however, these are the places we currently highly recommend:

Cancellations and Refunds
Places can be cancelled up to 7 working days (Sat & Sun are NON working days) before the date of the workshop by clicking here. All cancellations will be refunded via Paypal (less £10.00 administration fee). Any cancellations received less than 7 working days before the workshop date will NOT be refunded. If Edwin cancels then all payments will be refunded in full.

Transfer of Workshop Place
You may give your place to someone else but it will be up to you to recover your payment. We would also appreciate it if you let us know that you have done this by clicking here.

Refreshments
The cost of this workshop also includes a light lunch and 2 x tea & coffee breaks. If you have any specific dietary requirements (vegan, wheat free, gluten free, veggie etc) please indicate at the checkout in the space provided.
