Up here in Northumberland a burn is a small stream and so Burnfoot is aptly named as we have one at the foot of the garden, the Hartley Burn. Whilst you are here for a reading, attending a workshop or a retreat you will be able to enjoy some of the benefits of the garden. Sitting by the burn is just one of the places that you will find you are able to relax, meditate and connect to the water nymphs and sprites. In other areas of the garden you can soak up the energies of the surrounding fields and woodlands or just watch the birds and wildlife doing their thing. Many people find that just listening to the sounds of the environment helps them de-stress and heal - the energy of comfrey is everywhere. If you are here in the spring then you will be able to watch the lambs with their mothers. Late Spring early summer and the woodland fills with ransoms and bluebells. Later still and the bats wake from hibernation to join the young owls screeching and hooting not to mention the young pheasants under the watchful eye of their mother.

Over time we hope to develop other areas of contemplation and connection with nature within this magical space such as a stone circle and a Moon garden to name but two.

As well as the outside area Edwin has created a sacred workshop space of power and tranquility. It is a safe environment that offers protection, healing and cleansing to all who enter.

We feel incredibly privileged to be allowed to live in a place so close to the Divine that, in order to bring balance, we must share this space with others. We hope you see and feel what we do here and are able to make the most of your time whilst visiting.

How to Book
Click the 'Book' button for the required accommodation option and follow the paying procedure. You will recieve a confirmation email when your booking has been accepted.

Payments, Cancellations and Refunds
Places can be cancelled up to 14 working days (Sat & Sun are NON working days) before the date of the retreat by clicking here. All cancellations will be refunded via Paypal (less Ł70.00 deposit). Any cancellations received less than 14 working days before the retreat date will NOT be refunded. We must receive payment in full 21 days before the retreat date unless another arrangement has been made between us. If this is not the case we will presume you have cancelled and the above will apply.

Transfer of Retreat Placement
You may give your place to someone else but it will be up to you to recover your payment. We would also appreciate it if you let us know that you have done this by clicking here.

Low Burnfoot is situated in a secluded corner of a field with a river at the bottom of the garden overlooked by a wooded area. It is a place of meditation, healing and contemplation and we ask that you respect that ethos at all times.
